Paul joined Sauer Compressors in September, 2008. He was hired as a project engineer to design custom compressor packages and manage projects from sales to shipment. Much of his time was spent working through the details of military projects. In January of 2011, Paul was promoted to sales. He is still in the process of completing some of the projects he was involved with before January, but is slowly becoming completely focused on the sales side of the business.

After graduating from the University of Maryland, Paul's career began in 1990 with Novatec, Inc., a leading manufacturer of low pressure dryers and material handling equipment for the plastics industry. During his 18 years at Novatec, Paul began as an entry level engineer, learning the product line and slowly easing into project management. He then moved on to Senior Project Engineer/Manager, where in addition to the regular duties of working through sales order projects, Paul headed up a team to design the company's new product line - blenders. Before leaving Novatec in 2008, Paul was promoted to sales/project engineer where his responsibility expanded to not only include the design and management of projects, but also to developing application specifications by working directly with customers on the sales/quoting of projects.

Paul grew up in Bowie, MD., a Washington DC suburb and currently lives only a few minutes from Sauer Compressors in Stevensville, MD. While most of his time is consumed by his career and raising his 2 boys (ages 5 & 2) with his wife Andrea, Paul enjoys spending time on the water, running, cycling, and seeing all that his local area has to offer. In the past Paul was a marathon runner and triathlete. Only recently has he begun to get back into running and he hopes to run another marathon within a year or so and swim across the Chesapeake Bay during the annual Bay Bridge Swim in early June.
