Dave began his compressor career in 1974 with Ingersoll-Rand as a salesman for the Air Center Division and progressed in his career to become the Air Center Manager responsible for southern Ohio and N.Kentucky by 1984.

Dave began his own endeavor in personal business in 1984 as a Partner and COO of Highway Rental Co, HRC Compressor Engineering & Cincinnati Electric.

While at HRC, he Developed HRC Compressor Engineering into one of the largest Sullair distributors in the US along with an extensive rental fleet of Sullair and GD Portable compressors. Dave sold this highly successful company in 1994.

In 1995, Dave joined CompAir Holman in England to help introduce the Holman portable compressors to the US Market and in 1996 Assisted with the search and acquisition of LeRoi Compressors for CompAir USA.

In 1997, Dave Joined Dynapac USA as V-P Sales for the Heavy Compaction Group, San Antonio, TX where he was instrumental in growing the business until starting his own company - Acme Equipment Company. Acme equipment specialized in new and used construction equipment and compressors - Dave was President and Owner of the company until Joining Sauer!
